Bond No. 9 just introduced the new Perfumista Avenue fragrance, with the orietalist, leather-tinged scent having arrived on counters Sept. 15.The New York-centric perfumery created the scent to celebrate their 10th anniversary, but the new juice was also designed for "every New Yorker in every neighborhood."

Where did the inspiration for this fantasy idea come from? Bond No. 9 had an ongoing dream that that each and every New Yorker is a perfume wearer, whether they are a "taxi driver or bank teller," the company said. The Perfumista Avenue fragrance was designed with the best of the Big Apple in mind.

"We envisioned the [fragrance] not in any particular part of town - instead it partakes of the elegance of the Upper East Side, culturati atmosphere of the Upper West, the high-voltage energy of Midtown, the bohemian verve of Downtown and the Manhattan-ized parts of Brooklyn, and the lively dynamism of the outer boroughs," the company explained.

Perfumista Avenue is designed for "stunning, bold, fearless, sexy and daring" women, with notes of rose, mixed with lush plum, honey and musk. Amber and earthy patchouli round out this intoxicating fragrance combination.

But the packaging is just as buzzworthy as the scent itself. Perfumista Avenue comes in a vivid magenta bottle with a shimmering metallic cast. Bond No. 9 also etched the bottle with their signature token icons. Hold the pefume up to the light and see the dynamic mix of notes through the bottle.

There's a $260 50ml and $340 100ml bottle for sale. For additional ancillaries, try the $160 body silk, $150 candle, or $95 pocket spray.
