Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds recently took a break from their Bedford home to celebrate their first wedding anniversary. Over the weekend, the "Green Lantern" couple returned to South Carolina, where they were married last year, for a cozy getaway.

The "Gossip Girl" actress and her "Deadpool" star husband exchanged vows in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina on September, 9, 2012, at Boone Hall Plantation.

However, this weekend, the New York-based couple headed nearby Charleston, South Carolina before making their way to Savannah, Georgia on Monday, according to People Magazine.

While there Lively and Reynolds visited Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room for lunch where Marcia Thompson spoke to the couple.

The owner of the historic all-you-can-eat restaurant told People, "They were absolutely darling. I asked them what they were doing in Savannah, and she said it was their anniversary and they had never been able to get in the restaurant before. The line wasn't too terribly long."

However, the two didn't share a romantic anniversary dinner. The actors were actually seated at a table with six other diners for the family-style meal.

Thompson added, "Nobody made a fuss over them. I know the other people sitting at the table knew who they were, but they didn't say anything to them about who they were and that was nice.

"I thanked (the other diners) for that. ... I am honored that they came here on their anniversary. I hope they enjoyed it."

However, it was clear that Lively and Reynolds didn't want to ruin their diet. The pair reportedly left before dessert, banana pudding was served.

The actor paid in cash for their lunch, a bill that was $36, and also left a generous tip.

Thompson gushed over the hot actor, "When he stood up and put that smile on me, I nearly fainted. He is so good-looking," she said of the star who was named PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive in 2010.

Further complimenting the couple she said Lively "was so sweet and so pretty."
