The latest news on Chloe Grace Moretz, the beautiful "Carrie" star, is not about her boyfriend rumors. The 16-year-old actress posed for W Magazine, talking style, superpowers and confidence in their October issue.

According to W , the brunette star opened up about her childhood and her journey to becoming an actress including how she landed the beloved "Hugo" role.

"When I heard Martin Scorsese was directing, I thought it was going to be racy and really dark, but it was his first 'family' film," Moretz said. "They told me that he only wanted to cast British actors, so I wore a wig and made an audition tape using a British accent...After I read for him, I said in my regular voice, 'Bye Marty!' He asked where my accent had gone, and I told him the truth. Luckily, he was amused."

While in Europe to shoot "Hugo," the region influenced Moretz' fashion sense and style.

"...When we got [to Europe,] I was obsessed," Moretz continued. "I used to wear button-down shirts and little sweaters, and I looked like an adult, but now I want to have a Christopher Kane kind of style. I'm moody; I wear a lot of black - but I could reinvent myself tomorrow."

But with style, the actress has also developed a strong sense of self and more positive mindset. She is especially comfortable in being on film, and happy in her own skin.

"To be honest, I feel most confident when I am in front of the camera," the "Kick Ass 2" actress added. "I've learned to think of myself in the third person. When I watch my scenes, I'll say, 'She could have done better.'"

Moretz isn't afraid to be herself or answer any of W's questions. In fact, the young actress is equally fearless in posing for the magazine in a series of eye-catching shots.

In one image, she donned a simple white tee with rolled-up sleeves. She stares into the camera lens, looking as if she is ready to take on the world and rise to every challenge.
