"Gossip Girl" star Blake Lively turned 26 on August 25th and despite Hollywood's desire to worship young faces, Ryan Reynolds' wife claims she is not worried about aging.

Lively, who has taken a step back from acting since marrying her "Green Lantern" co-star, has been investing her time decorating her Bedford, New York home, which is rumored to be featured an upcoming issue of in Martha Stewart's magazine.

Now that the hot actress is officially in her late 20's and on the road to wrinkles, when asked about whether or not she fears aging, she said she welcomes old age.

According to the French edition of ELLE magazine, Lively said, ''Are you kidding me? I'm really excited! The older I get, the more wise I feel, the more experiences I have, the more I travel.''

The tall blonde even gave her opinion on plastic surgery she said, ''The problem is that women who have it don't actually look younger! Although, I guess maybe when it's really well done, you can't tell... Ask me again when I'm 60, I might have changed my mind!''

However, in an effort to stay young, although the actress admits that she does not exercise she revealed that she would try an alternative workout.

She said, "Seriously, sports is essential, at least for the silhouette to feel good. I recently discovered ment works of Dr. Dean Ornish, a cardiologist explains how to prevent heart disease and cancer by adopting lifestyles that combine nutrition, meditation and 'lifestyle.' So the sport, I'm going back, I promise!"

Blake also admitted that her mother Elaine Lively is her style icon because of her ability to dress in age appropriate ensembles.

She told ELLE, ''Her style evolves over time. She always looks right for her age, without giving the impression of having aged.

''I've never even seen her blow dry her hair before a night out. I like that natural aspect, no effort, it's very attractive: she never looks like she's spent hours in front of the mirror and everything suits her."
