Danity Kane had a reunion at this year's MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday. The "Damaged" group including Aubrey O'Day and Dawn Richard are releasing new music without DK member, D.Woods.

According to US Weekly, the group also included Audrea Fimbres and Shannon Bex made their first public appearance in several years together. But they were noticably missing their fifth singer.

Though Woods, 28, is not returning to the lineup, she wished the DK ladies well and has nothing but good things to say about them.

"Much love to the ladies of DK!" Woods told US in a statement. "They decided to reunite and I, like our amazing fans, will be cheering them on."

She explained just why now is not the right time for her to return to DK.

"For the past couple of years, myself and the other DK members have been working on other projects individually, such as music, film, television, theater and philanthropy," she said, "and I have recently signed on to several projects that will have me committed for the next year."

One of those new projects is music, which she has a new single called "Gold Mine" out now for her fans.

And with a lot of things on her plate, Woods does not rule out a DK reunion down the road.

"If the opportunity presents itself, I would definitely be open to recording and/or performing with Danity Kane again," she continued. "I appreciate all the love and support of DK and myself. God bless!"

The DK ladies, like Woods, are forging ahead with new songs and an edger look. After announcing their reunion via Instagram, they uploaded photos of the group's sexy style including scantily clad black ensembles, heavy eye makeup and blunt hairstyles.

The band was formed during MTV's "Making the Band" third season by Sean "Diddy" Combs in 2005. They released two platinum albums, "Danity Kane" and "Welcome to the Dollhouse" before parting ways in 2009.

They caused quite a stir during a publicized reunion lunch in May, with O'Day quickly shutting down rumors that the group was working with Diddy again.
