Kate Middleton, Prince George and Prince William are still adjusting to family life. After taking their first portrait, the Duke of Cambridge revealed that the royal heir will have an African-themed nursery in a CNN interview.

According to US Weekly, William detailed in the interview how the nursery will be full of stuffed jungle animals to make the royal heir feel like he's in the Motherland.

"I'll have toy elephants and rhinos around the room," William said. "We'll cover it in, you know, lots of bushes and things like that. [We'll] make him grow up as if he's in the bush."

The nature-embracing design is one that means a lot to the Prince, who spent a lot of time during his childhood visiting Kenya.

The Duke of Cambridge discussed how he hopes that his son will enjoy the same Africa that he has brought him such found memories. He cherishes the times that he and his younger brother, Prince Harry visited the continent.

His father, Prince Charles and late mother Princess Diana first took him and Harry to what he noted is a magical place, reported US.

In fact, William loved it so much that he and Middleton got engaged on a private holiday in Kenya in October 2010.

It is the Prince's hope that he can introduce the special place to his baby boy sooner than later. Taking a trip to Africa would also include getting acquainted with the endangered species there.

William talks about Africa and more in the one-hour special, "Prince William's Passion: New Father, New Hope" airing Sunday, Sept. 15 at 10 p.m. EST on CNN.
