Benefit Cosmetics proves that beauty has a sense of humor. Their new "Real Men Don't Fake It" video for "They're Real" mascara is so freakin' hilarious!

What an attention-grabbing way to promote and celebrate the product's 2-year anniversary. The mascara has got our vote! We are glad that Benefit has a funny side, but we also gotta say we're a tad upset that the clip mocks the business that is beauty.

Don't get us wrong - we think beauty should be fun, but we didn't need to see the up-close crotch shots in the video. Benefit makes great products anyways, so we won't take the light-hearted video too seriously.

The inspiration for the video actually came from the idea that their "They're Real" mascara is so incredibly real that it must be fake. Benefit describes the treatment as showing that in a world full of people "faking it," real men can keep it well, real. They even got Vinny G. from MTV's "Jersey Shore" to make a quick cameo.

Simon Rex, a.k.a Dirt Nasty, and comedian Brittany Furlan make appearances. How cool!

Benefit is breaking the beauty rules with this video. Tell us your thoughts in the comments section below!
