Charlie Hunnam from "Pacific Rim" and "Sons of Anarchy" may soon be adding another credit to his IMDB page.  The actor may be playing the male lead, Christian Grey.  Hunnam is often praised for his workout body, so it may be fitting for him to play the character from the seductive series.  Hunnam is also British, which also lines up with the main character.

According to insider information that the movie website Twitch has attained, "Hunnam has emerged as producers' prime target to play...'the handsome, yet tormented billionaire.'"

Don't get too excited about this possible casting choice just yet.  Representatives for the actor have denied the reports, according to the Guardian.  While Hunnam is on a possible list of possible contenders, no final casting decisions have been made.  However, Universal Studios is said to be taking its time during the process.

The movie production of the book that started out as a "Twilight" fan-fiction, is rumored to have Shailene Woodley, Felicity Jones, Alicia Vikander, or Emma Watson playing Anastasia Steele, the female lead.

Last week, it was announced that the books author, E.L. James, topped the Forbes list of highest earning authors.  James made an estimated $95 million between June 2013 and June 2013.

The film, directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, is due out in August 2014.
