On Wednesday, Prince William announced that he will be leaving his pilot job at the Royal Air Force (RAF) and returning to London with Kate Middleton and royal baby Prince George.

During his first official engagement since Prince George's arrival, the Duke of Cambridge attended the Anglesey Show, a vast two-day agricultural event in North Wales that attracts almost 60,000 people.

During his time there, he revealed that following the end to his search and rescue role in North Wales next month he, along with Duchess of Cambridge, will leave their "'immensely special" first home.

The Prince also revealed that he and Kate plan to take Prince George to Australia for his inaugural foreign royal visit next year.

According to the Daily Mail, while speaking with Max and Maxine Davies, from Victor Harbor he told them, "George is doing really well, thank you. We are all very hopeful of coming to Australia next year."

He also spoke about the royal baby's first few days, and said that the child was "loud but good looking."

When addressing the crowd Will said, "Catherine is sorry that she cannot be here today at the County Show."

He continued, "But she and George would have loved to have been here. He's pretty loud but of course very good looking! I have to say that I thought Search and Rescue duties over Snowdonia were physically and mentally demanding, but looking after a three week-old baby is up there!"

After speaking with Prince William the Davies said, "We are on holiday here and can't believe we got to talk to him. How wonderful that the family will come to Australia to visit."

Maxine Davies added, "He said he was very hopeful of coming next year with the family."

The Daily Mail reported that Will's late mother, Princess Diana, broke royal tradition when she insisted on taking her baby son to Australia with her in 1983 when he was nine months old.

Upon coming across his grandmother Joan Roberts from Caernarfon, the Duke informed her that Prince George was doing well when she asked. He said, "Great. All we have got to do now is to get him to sleep through the night... Please," joked William.
