It seems like Prince William needed a break from royal baby Prince George and wife Kate Middleton. The Duke of Cambridge decided to have a boozy boys weekend, but not without getting permission from the Duchess first!

Since becoming a father on July 22nd Prince William has spent most of his time with his wife and son but made his first appearance post royal baby in early August.

Now it seems the Duke has torn himself away from his family once more to enjoy a boozy stag weekend with friends, according to the Daily Mail.

William was spotted on Friday travelling in a private train car from London Paddington to Exeter St Davids with a group of friends, including good buddy Guy Pelly.

It is said that the Duchess of Cambridge gave the Prince permission to attend the celebrations with his group of 15 friends.

While travelling on the train, a fellow passenger told The Sun that they saw Will, "I walked through the carriage on the way to the buffet car and spotted William with a bunch of chaps swigging beer like it was going out of fashion.

"The tables were covered with cans and miniature bottles of gin and one chap seemed to be wearing gold lamé shorts."

The Prince recently returned from maternity leave and reported back to work at the Royal Air Force. Despite being British royalty many people on the train were not aware that they were in the presence of the Duke of Cambridge.

The source said, "There was an older man next to me who had no idea William was sitting just yards away.

"He nodded towards them and said, 'There's a right bunch of lads in there.'"
