In the midst of reports that fashionable couple Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have been arguing about the right time to have a baby the couple was spotted on a romantic date over the weekend with the actor's family joining the pair.

The group was seen having a playful and casual afternoon on Sunday at Armonk Square park in Armonk, N.Y. according to Life & Style. An eyewitness told the magazine, "They were there with his family."

"Blake and Ryan were playing with a boomerang. They were low-key, cute, and friendly."

Another source added that the two shared some intimate moments during their day date, "They were acting lovey-dovey."

"He had his arm around her and was holding her hand." Lively and Reynolds who married back in September 2012 have been said to be arguing over the right time to have a child seeing as they both want a large family.

Rumors swirled that the "Green Lantern" star was very controlling of his 25-year old wife and complained to her that his clock was ticking, whereas  the "Gossip Girl" star wanted to postpone baby making for her career.

Reports surfaced that the actor did not want to wait, "Ryan is getting quite impatient about it," an unidentified friend of the couple revealed.

According to the source, "Blake promised Ryan he'll be a daddy by the time he's 40." The alleged disagreement has been a major issue for the couple, the same issue that is rumored to be the reason behind the split from Reynolds' former wife, actress Scarlett Johansson.

The source said that when it comes to Blake Lively, "You can't blame her for wanting to wait, because she's so young. He's wanted to start a family for years. It was one of the main reasons he split from Scarlett Johansson - because she wasn't interested."

However, now it looks like things are going well for the couple as of lately both have been expressing their desire for a large family, the actress recently said,  "I've always wanted a big family," she went on to say, "Oh, I'd love 30 [children] if I could," according to Life & Style.

Meanwhile in an interview with Details Magazine, he said, "We'd love to have a big family."

"We both come from big families - my parents did four, Blake's did five. A lot of people say it's crazy, but we'll only know when we're there, you know? We'll walk through that fire pretty happily, I think."
