"Glee" stars Amber Riley, Jane Lynch and Dot-Marie Jones are paying tribute to their fallen co-star, Cory Montieth, whose untimely death from an overdose on Saturday shocked the world, according to US Weekly

Riley, 27, who playes Mercedes tweeted her loving message on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Jones, who plays Coach Beiste, fought back tears talking to Entertainment Tonight. "I loved him and I still do," she said of Montieth. "That will never go away. I don't have [one] fond memory because every memory is fantastic."

When asked about if she knew of Montieth's struggles, she said "I honestly didn't know."

"I worked a lot with Cory one-on-one and Cory was present," Jones told ET." [His passing] was a loss for everyone involved."

Lynch, who plays Sue, shared a similar sentiment on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" this week, reported US.

"Cory had one of the biggest hearts," Lynch said. "He was one of those guys that was always aware that [the show] was a gift."

She continued, "He was quite generous, and one of those adventureous types of people who would - he'd fly to Mexico, he'd throw parties for his friends. I don't think he left one day unlived. He was a real bright light in our family. We've lost a really great guy."
