Katy Perry is always serving up a serious dose of fierceness. The latest from one of our favorite pop divas? Get ready for Perry's new fragrance, "Killer Queen" hitting beauty shelves in August.

It's got the usual suspects: jasmine, wild berry, dark plum, bergamot and red velvet. But the edgy superstar tells us this scent is still a standout. "It does have a bit of gourmand thing to it - but gourmand like high tea at Claridge's," the edgy beauty said. "I wanted the scent to have a little bit of ambiguity...the patchouli heart gives it ambiguity and this thing called cashmeran is really cool. It has this real curve ball in it that I think it's sophisicated but still supersexy."

The scent, referring to Freddie Mercury's 1974 cult classic song, "highlights the power that women have inside them."

Perry's previous perfurmes, "Purr and Meow" spoke to the girl Katy once was, but this new fragrance seems to help signify the rad diva that she has become now. Loving it.

She modeled the red-and-gold, jewel-shaped bottle, ranging from $20 to $60, after a scepter, which is a queen's staff. Perry created a sweet gold crown and crest as the bottle's top. Cool, huh?
