Willow Smith is talking about a summer fling in her new music video, stirring up a bit of controversy.

Many people believe the song is too mature for the 12-year-old singer, according to Fox News. Some say the super-petite tween is growing up fast and furious on her latest "Summer Fling" track, which several reports branded as disturbingly racy.

Will and Jada Pinkett Smith's daughter appears in the clip dressed in a midriff-baring shirt and red boy shorts, alongside an noticeably older male love interest. They romp and play around giving no more that innocent, lovey-dovey looks, hugs and hand holding, but the lyrics address grown-up subject matter.

"...You tell me that I'm the one, I tell you it's just for fun...We both say I love you...If you want to talk I guess that's alright, if you wanna walk under the night sky, I don't really care because we got tonight, oh baby...," Smith crooned.

Human behavior expert Patrick Wanis, PhD, lambasted the song to FOX411.

"Willow is singing about having sex and this is totally inappropriate and not in line with the developmental physical, mental or emotional stages of a 12-year-old girl who is barely an adolescent," he said. "The video reveals that she is still a little girl - not a teenager. She is not mature enough mentally or emotionally to be boasting that she and her 'fling' are walking 'the beach at midnight.'"

But some others feel it's just entertainment, and should not be analyzed and taken so seriously. Pop culture expert Jenn Holfman supported the tune.

"When I was 12 years old I was madly in love with my boyfriend," she said. "To tell me otherwise would be completely dismissive of the feelings I was going through at the time. Who are we to tell Willow Smith that she is too young to be feeling these things? In 2013 12 years old doesn't seem to young for a legit summer fling."
