They have been married for less than a year and now Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are ready to start a family.

In the August issue of Details Magazine the actor opened up about his dreams of fatherhood and having a big family.

In the interview he said, "We'd love to have a big family."

"We both come from big families - my parents did four, Blake's did five. A lot of people say it's crazy, but we'll only know when we're there, you know? We'll walk through that fire pretty happily, I think."

Reynolds, who along with his wife are typically private people, they do not share their social life with the media but this time around he decided to shed some light on his life and why he chooses to keep quiet about his relationships.

"I don't intentionally try to be evasive about that stuff," he tells the magazine.

"If you ask me to describe my relationship, I mean - words are too clumsy to accurately describe how I feel in that regard, particularly in an interview.

"It's a strange thing. I understand the climate we live in and why people are curious. But it's just tough and almost emotionally violent-for anyone, I think-to see your personal life summarized in a sentence."

The actor who is the youngest of four brothers is a bit worried that he will have a brood of all boys.

"I'm terrified that I'm genetically predisposed to only having boys," the actor admitted.

"That's frightening. By the time I was 10 years old, and I'm not exaggerating, I knew how to patch drywall.

"There's nothing my brothers and I didn't put a hole in. We turned our home into a Wiffle house. That's something I'm not looking forward to."

The actor appears on the cover of Details in a long gray coat, a black sweater, and blue pants, as he promotes his film "R.I.P.D."

Although he is a successful star with millions in the bank and a gorgeous wife the actor proved that he is no different than anybody else and has self doubt.

He told the magazine "I can't say I've ever finished a film and been particularly thrilled with myself or patted myself on the back."

"And maybe that's what keeps me going, and that's a good thing.

"It speaks volumes about how I perceive myself. Like a lot of people, I've got a self-loathing streak that's alive and well. It acts as a de facto engine when I'm working, but it also has its extraordinary pitfalls, too."
