Aniston recently sat down with celebrity makeup artist, Tina Turnbow to spill tips and dish on her beauty essentials in a New York's The Cut Q & A. Grab your paper and pens now!
When it comes to her holy grail of skincare advice, three simple words come to mind: hydrate, treat, and rehydrate. If you're wondering how Jennifer perfects such flawless, glowing skin, Aniston lives by one simple guideline. "The skin care rule I stand by is simply cleanse, tone and moisturize," she said. "I also try to exfoliate regularly...my makeup artist on set [of a movie] did a great thing, she gave me a tube of Aveeno Positively Radiant Scrub to use every night. And I've been using it every since," Aniston explained. She's a strong believer in an "simple, natural and easy" skin care regime. Kudos, Aniston.
As far as the treasures in her makeup bag, Jennifer loves Dr. Hauschka lip balm, Estee Lauder's fig lip liner and Le Femme concealer pencil, a double-sided dream with a highlighter. And like most of us girls, she keeps makeup wipes handy and by her side. The starlet also loves scentsational finds including her own Jennifer Aniston Fragrance.
Aniston's minimal makeup is her signature look. Her makeup artist, Angela Levin, also dished on how the starlet achieves such perfection. After applying a small amount of Youngblood Primer and a few dots of Youngblood Foundation, she fills in and defines her brows using Sephora's Eyebrow Pencil. Levin then applies about three coats of Chanel Inimitable Intense Mascara for added strength and drama after she curls her lashes first with a heated curler.To finish the look, Levin primps Aniston's cheeks with cream blush using either Chanel, Bobbi Brown or Ben Nye brands. For shading, a matte mauve or taupe tone will do.
