Channing Tatum was a superstar-in-the-making in his teen years before growing up to become a sexy, sought after actor.

Recently, a picture of the "White House Down" star as an adolescent surfaced online, showing the once-young ninth grader flexing shirtless, according to Celebuzz.  The future superstar was like the "all-American" guy in high school.

"He was just the guy who played sports, he was so cute," said Lauren Greenbaum, who went to Gaither High School with her now-famous ex-beau in Tampa, FL. "He used to write me love letters. It was 15-year-old stuff, you know. It was so sweet and kind of funny."

She also shared that the later-in-life "Sexiest Man Alive" would watch the old cartoon, "Bobby's World" with her.

Fast forward to now, Tatum has not lost his friendly nature or his sensitive side. The actor recently confessed to having crying fits during the birth of his newborn daughter, Everly, with wife, Jenna Dewan, according to New York's The Cut.

He opened up about his softie heart while speaking to Chelsea Handler. "I probably went to the bathroom four times and had a crying fit," he shared. "Like, I'm just like, I don't know what to do."

He was both freaked out by the birthing process and worried about his wife's health.

"It's like someone's hurting, someone that you love and you can't do anything about it," he added. "You physically cannot help. I'm still not helping and the baby's out. It doesn't matter. You are useless; men are useless, but we are really useless during this...It's a real thing. It's like National Geographic animal-style for real. I don't get it."

Of course, he got a lot of "awws" from the audience.

At another recent appearance, he got a lot of laughs. Tatum did a hilarious clip with Jamie Foxx, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Munn and Matt Damon for Jimmy Kimmel Live; it has already become a viral sensation.
