The highly-anticipated, "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" is currently filming in Cleveland, Ohio, to the delight of many fans.

Already star-studded with Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson and more, some Marvel Comics lovers were afraid that Hayley Atwell would not return after her character, Peggy Carter was left behind in the 1940s following Steve Rogers a.k.a Captain America crash, according to the Huffington Post.

But she did return to the sequel's set, photographed while wearing "old-age" makeup by an AOL Patch Cleveland reporter on Thursday.

The actress, who played Captain America's love interest in the first 2011 film, was dressed as an elderly woman at a Cleveland Heights home, which was converted into a nursing home for a scene where the leading man was visiting World War II veterans.

But if the sighting means that she will be in the actual film hitting theaters in April 2014 is unclear. We do know that she will play the character in a special short film appearing on the sequel's DVD and Blue Ray extras.

In related news, Mackie is expressed his joy in playing the high-flying Falcon, the first African-American superhero in comic books.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the actor fits his new role like a glove. "Trust me, it's a lot of fun to be a superhero," he said of his role. "All of it, everything that's come together, it feels like a special moment."

He added that that ground-breaking history surrounding his character makes him proud.

"It's a cool story and brings in some amazing characters and the Falcon is one of the things that fans are already excited about," he said. "It's a movie that has kind of turned into a bigger-than-life opportunity for me."
