A little more than 24 hours ago, Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson had vowed to stay together in the name of love, according to reports.

But now, the twosome have changed their tune, shocking our socks off in the process. According to E! Online, Robsten broke up on Saturday after a drama-filled three years of dating. Whoa!

This is a curveball move, considering Saturday's early reports that the "Twilight" couple were fighting to make the relationship work again. Why would they call it quits now? Well, apparently, Stewart's affair with "Snow White and the Huntsmen" director Rupert Sanders had brewed tremendous trouble in paradise for the on-and-off again couple that they just could not get over, according to Hollywood Life.

But are all our hopes for Robsten out the window?

Well, there could be some hope. Though Stewart is balling her eyes out and heartbroken, the split is most likely temporary, said a source close to both K-Stew and Pattinson to E!

In fact, putting the relationship on hold will allow both to maintain a friendship, according to OK! Magazine. "They love each other deeply, and realize that time away from each other will give them both the perspective that they need," a source tells the magazine. Their breakup comes on the heels of the twosome's appearance at Coachella and rendezvous in New York.
