The newst eco-friendly trend may be something you wear on your face. Musicians Beyonce Knowles Carter, Snoop Lion (a.ka. Snoop Dogg), Machine Gun Kelly and many others are turning to a new source for high-quality designer sunglasses—Proof's sustainable wood sunglasses.

Last night, the guys from Proof went on to the ABC show "Shark Tank," and with their products in front of more eyeballs at once than ever before, the wood shades have become an overnight sensation everyone is looking for. The mad dash to grab a pair by those who watched the program actually crashed their site, according to Proof's Facebook update.

"just an FYI - Our website crashed due to all the Shark Tank exposure. To look at our products please go towww.iwantproof.bigcartel.com you guys rock"

Shark Tank, which is headed by billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban, is a reality TV show that features a panel of "shark investors" who must decide whether or not they would like to invest in products pitched to them. Past and present members include Barbara Corcoran, Daymond John, Kevin Harrington, Mark Cuban, Jeff Foxworthy and Lori Greiner.

Headed by three brothers, Brooks, Taylor and Tanner, who started the process in a garage in Eagle, Idaho, Proof eyewear was inspired by the brothers' grandfather, Bud, who worked in a sawmill his whole life and his hard working attitude and love for wood raised them to have "sawdust in their veins." If hard working guys willing to use the best materials made from the earth isn't dutiful enough, the trio also claims to pledge "a large portion of each sunglass /eyewear sale goes to a charity in India that give sight seeing cataract surgeries to those in need." Bravo, guys.

Featuring a wood, skate (made from 'repurposed skateboards') and eco collection (materials 'from the earth), Proof has a wide variety of looks and styles to fit your face. They even have a line of prescription brand glasses and make iPhone cases and wallets made of their handmade wood. With price ranging anywhere from $90-$130, these glasses look like a great buy.
