Brazilian supermodel and actress Gisele Bundchen has been named the new face of Chanel's Les Beiges Makeup, Feb. 11. Bundchen will lend her charm to the brand and will front its series of advertisements for its line of skin toning matte-effect powders.

"Modern, independent and positive, she is also a nature lover who has a healthy lifestyle and enjoys the great outdoors. She is at one with herself and perfectly represents the values of this line: natural beauty, simplicity, freedom and a healthy glow," Hollywood Life quoted the press statement released by the fashion house.

With this Bundchen joins celebs like Brad Pitt, Kiera Knightley and Nicole Kidman in endorsing the iconic brand.

Chanel recently courted controversy when its Coco Mademoiselle perfume ad starring Knightley was banned from being aired during children's programming for being "too suggestive for kids." The Advertising Standard Authority (ASA) has ruled the ad as "unsuitable for young children" due to its content.

But Chanel begs to differ calling the ad "playful and sensual rather than overtly sexual."

The 32-year-old model was one of the Victoria's Secret angel till 2007 and has walked the ramp for famous designers like Alexander McQueen, Marc Jacobs, Christian Dior, Dolce and Gabbana and Valentino to name a few.

The supermodel, who is married to New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, welcomed a baby girl, Vivian Lake Brady in December. Posting a picture on her Facebook page, she gleefully announced the news adding, "We feel so lucky to have been able to experience the miracle of birth once again and are forever grateful for the opportunity to be the parents of another little angel. Vivian Lake was born at home on December 5. She is healthy and full of life. Thank you all for your support and well wishes. We wish you and your families many blessings."
