Looks like Lindsay Lohan misses her old self. After steering clear of trouble for quiet sometime, the actress is once again in the news for punching a woman named Tiffany Eve Mitchell at the Avenue Nightclub, NYC, according to nydailynews.com.

The star reportedly tried to flee the nightclub after the incident but the victim identified Lohan to the cops. "This is all so crazy," the victim's husband, Wayne Stevens, told the site. "I don't know what happened. All of a sudden she was hitting my wife. ... We didn't even know it was her until the police came."

The "Mean Girls" star was dressed for the night in a green mini skirt, black leggings and strappy heels and did not see the arrest coming.

But looks like Lohan's troubles do not end here as she has also been charged with three crimes related to her car crash in June on Pacific Coast Highway. The star is said to have given false information to the police officer, resisted an officer in the performance of his duty and has also been charged for reckless driving.

Lohan recently was in news for making peace with the hotel Chateau Marmont for non-payment of dues. In August the star had refused to pay a whopping bill of $46, 350, as a result the Hollywood hotel had banned her from its premises.

But Lohan was back in October attending the launch party of Mr. Pink vitamin drink looking relaxed while she posed for the cameras. Dressed in a metallic dress and shiny golden satin peep toes, the actress gave no hint of her troubled past. And looking at Lohan on the red carpet, no one could imagine that the star would go back to her old, notorious ways.

It has proved to be a bad week for the actress as she also faced  criticism for her performance in "Liz and Dick" where she plays the legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor. Describing Lohan's performance in the film, thestar.com  said "No one expected her to be anything but awful. And we were not disappointed."
