“The O.C” star Mischa Barton has been lying low for quite some time now. But the actress is back in the public view as she graces the cover of Volt Magazine for its November issue. She also becomes the first celebrity to appear on the magazine’s cover.

Barton appears in a series of black and white photos looking chic and stylish. The actress flaunts winged eyeliner and kohl and a black nail varnish. With minimal makeup, her complexion looks flawless highlighting a nicely defined cheek bones and she is seen with her hair in a partial up do and left loose over her shoulders. The cover picture is a close-up of the actress and she looks stunning with an old world charm.

Later she is seen sitting on a stool with her legs crossed at the knee, celebrity-gossip.net reports. Giving a peek of her lingerie which she keeps covered with a shawl like garb she confidently stares into the camera. The actress is seen wearing knee high boots. The pictures look stunning and refined and the actress has been photographed by Robert Charbonnet.

The 26 years old actress has featured in various films like “Lawn Dogs,” “Nottinghill” and many more but Barton shot to fame with the Fox Television series “The O.C” in which she plays the role of Marissa Cooper. Barton is currently a part of the Irish stage production “Steel Magnolias.”

Barton has modeled for various big brands like Calvin Klein, bebe stores, Aéropostale and more. In March 2012 she also unveiled her line of clothing, accessories, bath products and cosmetics over the internet called Mischa's Place. Her collection is very trendy and youthful. With quirky designs and prints, the actress sure has kept the young generation in mind while designing the line.

Considering her flawless skin has often been talked about Barton in an interview with the Cosmopolitan magazine said, “I'm not too high-maintenance - I just wash my face morning and night then I just use a good moisturiser, sometimes something with an SPF if I think it's necessary, and I always keep cleansing wipes by my bed to make sure I take my make-up off because otherwise I can be a bit lazy! Otherwise that's pretty much it,” when asked about her beauty regime.
