“Princess Diaries” star Anne Hathaway tied the knot with actor and jewelry-designer boyfriend Adam Shulman at a private estate in Big Sur, California. The ceremony was blessed with the romantic charm of sundown.

Best known for her roles as princess and superhero, Hathaway exchanged vows with Shulman in a Jewish ceremony attended by about 180 guests, as reported by styleite.com. The wedding was planned by Yifat Oren, who also planned Oscar-winner Natalie Portman’s wedding.

Dressed in a white, off-shoulder gown designed by ace designer Valentino, Hathaway waltzed down the aisle, making an extremely beautiful and princess-like bride. Hathaway paired the vintage-inspired dress with an intricate veil, which had a 1920s-inspired headband and white shoes. The white Valentino dress was divine and flowing, with a beautiful train.

Hathaway has been seen at various red carpet events in A-list designer dresses like Prabal Gurung, Tom Ford, Givenchy, Oscar de la Renta and more.

Not just the bride, Shulman too looked dapper in a classic black tuxedo. The theme of the wedding is said to have been “pink, white and rustic”.

This weekend seems to be one for weddings. Apart from Hathaway, Australian T.V. star and model Holly Valance also “kissed” spinsterhood goodbye when she said “I Do” to billionaire beau Nick Candy in Beverly Hills, according to news.com.au.

Valance was dressed in a white gown by J'Aton Couture. The dress had a full skirt with feather-like material and a bodice-like top, paired with a lace veil. Beau Candy looked chic in a black tuxedo by Dolce and Gabbana. The wedding was attended by about 300 guests, including Simon Cowell.

Holly Valance shot to fame almost overnight with her international number-one hit single “Kiss Kiss”. Candy had popped the question to Valance during a holiday in Maldives last December.
