Beyoncé's haircare line has made its debut.
The brand is called Cécred, and it launched its foundation collection, which includes eight new products that cover your full haircare routine.
On Cécred's website, Beyoncé stated that she was inspired by her experience at her mother's salon growing up and wanted to bring what she learned from her mother to life.
According to the website, the reason behind the brand was to prioritize textured hair that needs moisture and strength.
We'll take you through a breakdown of each of Cécred's foundation products and let you know what everything is and what benefits it has, so you know which product is the right fit for you.
One of the products in the line is a Hydrating Shampoo that uses hyaluronic acid to hydrate your hair. It also contains an African oil blend that is antioxidant-rich as well as phyto-collagen, which helps moisturize your hair. It's friendly for all hair types and uses the brand's signature scent with notes of musk, sandalwood, oud, jasmine, vetiver, and violet leaves.
The collection also features a Clarifying Shampoo and Scalp Scrub, which will give your hair the deep cleaning it seriously needs. It uses tea tree oil and fermented purple willow bark to remove buildup as well as residue. It smells like peppermint, rosemary, tea tree, and lemon.
Obviously, with shampoos, there has to be a conditioner in the collection, and one is called a Moisturizing Deep Conditioner, which will rehydrate, soften, and keep your hair manageable. It is best for curly, coily, and zig-zag coiled hair. It uses 12 oils and butter to moisturize your hair.
There is also a Hydrating Conditioner that has not been launched yet.
This line includes the Fermented Rice and Rose Protein Ritual product, which is a two-step treatment. The first step starts with a hair-straightening rice powder, which is a water-activated hair rinse treated with honey, rose, biotin, and aminos. The second step is a silk rinse, which uses African oil and sea buckthorn to help add softness, smoothness, and shine to your strands. It can help with breakage as well. It can be used on all hair types and smells like yuzu, peach, and jasmine.
There is also a Reconstructing Treatment Mask, which is basically hair repair in a jar. This mask uses a bioactive keratin ferment, which can help with breakage as well as repair damage. It also contains vitamin E, antioxidants, and more to help make your hair look shiny while also healing it. It works best for those with hair damage from chemical treatments, heat styling, and color treatments.
The collection also includes a Moisturizing Sealing Lotion. It uses an African oil blend and a phyto-seal complex to help seal split ends, lock in moisture, fight frizz, keep your hair moisturized, and aid in styling. It also helps your hair look shiny and smooth and can be used on all hair types, but it's best for those who want curl definition and style longevity and those suffering from frizz and dullness.
The final product in the foundation range is a Nourishing Hair Oil. The product is formulated with 13 different oils to help seal in moisture in your hair while also keeping your hair hydrated and nourished. It is lightweight and will leave your hair looking and feeling soft. It is best for those with dull and dry medium-to-thick hair.
