Whether you are looking for a new shampoo or exploring different brands, we've got you covered. This month and every month, we're all about supporting Black-owned haircare brands.

Here are some Black-owned haircare brands to keep on your radar.

Inala

Inala is a haircare brand founded by La La Anthony. The brand focuses on recovering and fortifying hair. Inala is clean and uses cruelty-free ingredients.

The brand is known for its signature Rice Water Complex, which can be found across many of its products. Its best-selling product is Power Potion Rice Water Drops, which is applied to the scalp and helps hydrate, nourish, and strengthen your hair.

Pattern Beauty

Tracee Ellis Ross founded this brand, which focuses on natural hair textures and curls. Aside from being an exceptionally cool brand, 1% of every pattern purchase is donated to a non-profit that supports people of color. The brand's No. 1 best-selling product is its leave-in conditioner, which uses hero ingredients such as honey and aloe, which attract hydration. It also contains jojoba oil to seal in that hydration.

TPH by Taraji

Taraji P. Henson founded this brand, which has a scalp-first approach when it comes to its products. Its products are designed for every style, texture, and hairstyle. Each product was curated to help nourish, protect, and deeply cleanse hair.

There are three hero products from this brand, but we want to talk about its "Make it Rain" hydration-rich conditioner. Reviewers shared that this product has changed their haircare routine forever in the best way possible. The key ingredients in this are: aloe to help soothe, avocado oil to protect hair from dehydration while smoothing and strengthening, moringa oil to moisturize and soften hair, and finally, quinoa to help protect and strengthen your hair.

Curls

This brand was founded by Mahisha Dellinger, who was bothered by the lack of natural hair products on the market that used quality ingredients. She partnered with experts in the space to create the brand. Curls focuses on natural hair care, and one of its best-sellers is its Blueberry Bliss Reparative Leave-in Conditioner. This product uses aloe leaf juice to soothe hair, coconut oil, and blueberry extract to help prevent breakage, repair damage, and even help with hair growth.

Melanin Haircare

This family-run business was started in 2015 by sisters Whitney and Taffeta White. Melanin Haircare focuses on natural and non-toxic ingredients that promote healthy hair and a healthy scalp.

Although it has quite a few best-sellers on Sephora, its most-reviewed product is its Multi-Use Softening Leave-In Conditioner. It was created to help with frizziness, dryness, and damage. The key ingredients are pro-vitamin B5, which helps with dehydration and help with retaining moisture, and bamboo extract, which moisturizes and helps with growth and shine. Additionally, the conditioner also contains hops extract, which is an anti-inflammatory that helps with shine and growth.
