The shooting for "Avengers: Infinity War" is going on pretty hard with many A-list cast members filming for their scenes in Scotland and it seems now that Jeremy Renner is on his way to shoot for his part. It was previously reported that a major part of the filming of the much anticipated third sequel to Marvel's Cinematic Universe is happening in Edinburgh and footage of Paul Bettany (or a possible body double) was released performing stunts as The Vision.

According to Screen Rant, Jeremy, who will be reprising his role of Clint Barton/Hawkeye in "Avengers: Infinity War", recently posted a picture on his Twitter account where he was flying in an airplane with caption, "It's time. #Team #Avengers #marvel # Hawkeye". Even though the actor didn't reveal where he was headed, it wasn't a big puzzle to realize that "The Hurt Locker" was heading to join his team.

In a report by Comic Book, this would be the fifth appearance of Renner playing as Hawkeye on the silver screen. The previous being "Captain America: Civil War (2016)", "The Avengers (2012), "Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)" and a short appearance in "Thor (2011). However, the 46-year-old actor had a short amount of screen share in these movies, it is expected to see more of him in Avengers: Infinity War as the Scotland shoot will take place for at least six months.

The production of the movie started last month with the release of a behind-the-scenes video starring Tom Holland (Spiderman), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man) and Chris Patt (Star-Lord). The team began the production in Atlanta, then moved to Edinburgh for a six-month shoot. In an additional report by Movie Plot, Renner is also believed to join the sequel of another Marvel movie Ant-Man" titled "Ant-Man and the Wasp", which will release a couple of months after the "Avengers: Infinity War".

Directed by Anthony Russo, "Avengers: Infinity War" is scheduled to release on May 4, 2018.
