It seems like the ensemble star cast of BBC Two popular British drama "Peaky Blinders" were enough that the creator Steven Knight has welcomed dashing Adrien Brody abroad for the fourth season of the highly successful TV series that also stars biggies like Cillian Murphy ("The Inception") and Tom Hardy ("Max Max: Fury Road").

As reported by Radio Times, Brody will be the new cast in the series while Tom Hardy will reprise his role of a violent and unpredictable Jewish gang leader, Alfie Solomons. Cillian Murphy, the lead cast of the series will continue the role of Tommy Shelby, the famous leader of Peaky Blinders gang. The rest of the cast that includes Helen McCrory, Joe Cole, Paul Anderson, Fin Cole, Sophie Rundle, Kate Phillips, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Packy Lee and Natasha O'Keefe are also expected to return.

The new season sees the action from the beginning as a mysterious letter arrives at Tommy Shelby's that may realize the end of Peaky Blinders. However, the addition of the 43-year-old Brody is expected to be a great turning point in second last season of series. According to the Week, Steven Knight recently teased the fans stating that Brody will play a special role in the series, although there weren't any specific details revealed.

It's fantastic to have Adrien in the team. He was the actor in my mind when I wrote the part and I am sure he will be a formidable presence in the world of Peaky Blinders," said Knight. "Adrien Brody is a world class actor who is well known for giving mesmerizing performances. I can't wait to see him in action," said Piers Wenger, Controller of BBC Drama, reports Independent.

Adrien Brody is known for his performance in 2002 period drama "The Pianist" for which he was awarded Academy Award for Best Actor. The season four of "Peaky Blinders" will be directed by David Caffrey and produced by Joe Donaldson. It is expected to release in late 2017.
