It's been months since Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from husband Brad Pitt after a 10-year relationship. But it seems that the 41-year-old actress still hasn't been able to completely put her past behind, which can be seen from her back.

According to the Huffington Post, the "Maleficent" actress, who was previously married to Billy Bob Thornton and Jonny Lee Miller, got tattoos with Pitt to strengthen their bond as husband and wife. Jolie, who is well-known for her obsession with tattoos, reportedly visited Ajan Noo Kanpai, a world famous tattoo artist from Thailand in February 2016, to get tattooed from the same ink.

Kanpai is well known for his Thai Yantra tattoos, hand etched designs which are meant to give the owner protection and blessings. This is not the first time the gorgeous actress has visited the studio. She had been there twice, the latest being a big tiger tattoo she received on back in 2004. "Jolie got three new tattoos on her back, while Brad opted a Buddhist symbol inked on the left side of his abdomen," Kanpai's website reported.

Interestingly, both the actors used the same ink to get their tattoos to symbolically bind them as a husband and wife, just before announcing their separation in September 2016. According to ETOnline, Jolie also requested a full custody following the investigation on the 53-year-old's alleged child behavior. Pitt was cleared of all the charges by the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services.

Although, many still believe that the couple had chances of getting back together. But Jolie and Pitt are drifting apart each passing day. In an interview last month, Jolie got emotional when asked about her split with Brad Pitt. "I still believe he is a wonderful father and we will always be family," said the Oscar winner who, together with Pitt, has six children.
