Fujitsu Labs has created a smartphone app that uses a smartphone camera to measure skin condition. The app. is able to track different skin tones, blemishes and acne. In addition the application can be used to monitor the health of your skin and measure how skin care and cosmetic products will interact with your skin.

Women and Men usually go to experts to gauge skin tone and conditon. Now with the smartphone app. they can measure accuratly skin blemishes, pores and acne. The app. is also able to inform users about available skin products and cosmetics regiments that can improve their skin. The smartphone app. gives the freedom for it's users to measure and detect skin pores, color and dullness anywhere.

According to Fujitsu Labs, the application is easy to use and with the assistance of a color frame wheel, the user can take close up shots of their face, nose, cheeks and chin. The application then analyzes the information and gives a easy to underestand skin assessment. Currenlty, the app. is only able to read Japanese skin tone, but the lab is planning to expand the app. capabilities to all skin tones.
