Karrueche Tran may be busy working on her budding modeling and acting career, however, sources close to Tran reveal that she is nervous that her involvement with Chris Brown will overshadow her future projects.
Urban Islandz reports that while Tran scored herself a Daytime Emmy award alongside the cast of "The Bay," the up-and-coming actress is concerned that her highly publicized love triangle with Rihanna and Brown will prevent her from taking on more serious roles in the future.
Sources close to Brown and Tran reveal that the model-turned-actress doesn't want her ex near anyone connected with her current and upcoming projects for fear that he will overshadow her career.
"Chris Brow is a way bigger celebrity than she is so it makes perfect sense that her people ensure that he stays clear of any film production that she is involved in," the source dished before admitting that Tran is trying to shake her association with the singer.
"Karrueche has no ill feelings towards him and only wishes him the best, but she has to focus on her own career now and build her own legacy without him overshadowing her," the source concluded.
The news comes on the heels of reports that suggest Tran is considering filing a restraining order against Brown in the event that he doesn't stay away from her.
After the duo's blowout fight at a L.A. nightclub last weekend, both Tran and Brown have been vocal about their intentions to stay away from one another, however, sources close to Brown allege that the singer is having a difficult time with the breakup and was hoping to reconcile with his ex.
Despite Brown's attempts to win back his ex, Tran has been adamant about denying reports that tie her to Brown or insist that the duo have a future together, insisting that she is "100 percent single" and has had no contact with Brown since learning that he fathered daughter Royalty with another woman.
Do you think Karrueche Tran will be successful in her acting career?
