Haylie Duff's newborn baby girl Ryan seems to have found her best friend. The actress recently shared a glimpse of her newborn daughter on her Instagram account.

According to Us Weekly, in the photo, Matt Rosenberg and Duff's dog can be seen at the center of the picture curled up while avoiding the kicking feet of the infant as the new mom keeps her face hidden, .

"Chicken's favorite spot to sit while I feed Ryan, #BFF," Duff captioned the photo.

Just a few days after Duff gave birth, the family of three seemed to have settled into a routine with their adorable canine, named Chicken, who has become quite attached to the baby, according to Daily Mail.

The 30-year-old actress gave birth to her first child,Ryan Ava Erhard with fiancé Matt Rosenberg on Monday, May 11.

"Both mom and baby are doing great!" her rep told Us Weekly at the time. "Haylie and Matt are thrilled to finally meet their baby girl and become a family of three."

The new addition to the Duff family means that Hilary Duff's 3-year-old son Luca will also have a cousin for play dates.

Haylie first announced in December that she and her fiancé were expecting their first baby together.

The singer-actress became engaged last April to Matt Rosenberg, the founder of the Subway Tile Shirts apparel company.

When speaking to Access Hollywood, Haylie Duff revealed that she and her sweetheart were in no rush to walk down the aisle.

"We're just really enjoying this phase of our relationship. I feel like, so many people, you get engaged and then it's like, OK, we have to get married within a year" or whatever it is," Duff said.

"We're kind of just, like, enjoying being engaged. It's fun to be a fianceé," she added.
