Safaree Samuels may have sent his well wishes to ex-girlfriend Nicki Minaj regarding her recent engagement to beau Meek Mill, however, when it comes to offering support to Minaj's rap career, Samuels admits he struggles to be happy for the "Truffle Butter" rapper.

Mstars reports that Samuels is having a difficult time being happy for Minaj after their bitter breakup last year, especially since he feels that Minaj isn't happy for his recent success regarding his new mixtape, "It Is What It Is."

Samuels hinted at his his frustration with Minaj in a recent Instagram message, where he shared the quote, "Keep grinding. Someone you don't even know is rooting for you, while someone you know isn't."

Samuels then captioned the eyebrow-raising photo with, "Story of stuntman's life," referring to his rap nickname.

Later that day, Safaree shared a photo of himself with a caption that seemed to continue on his previous post, writing, "I want it for you...But you don't want it for me..It is what it is...I'ma start telling everybody I love them b4 they leave me becuz u really neva know if it's the last time you'll see the person...the next hour isn't promised but we take it for granted...Sh*% krazyy...Love #stuntgang."

The news comes on the heels of reports that show Samuels' alleged girlfriend, model Sophia Body, throwing shade at Minaj by claiming that the "Only" rapper overshadowed Samuels' career by not allowing him to write his own material.

Body also came under fire after suggesting that it was Samuels who wrote all of Minaj's famous rhymes, however, she later backtracked on her statement after being blasted by Minaj's fans.

Samuels also spoke out about Minaj's recent engagement to beau Meek Mill, throwing shade at his rapper ex as he claims that he's been happier without her.

"If that's who she chooses to be with it don't have nothing to do with me," he began when being asked whether or not he was upset about Minaj and Meek Mill's swift engagement.

"If I was a bitter jealous person and I was miserable in my life right now, it'll be different, but mentally, I haven't been this happy in God knows how long. I just feel free."
