Chris Evans revealed that the anticipated back-to-back filming for "Avengers: Infinity War" will take nine months, after Marvel disclosed the release dates of the two-part film.

Part one has been scheduled to hit theaters on May 4, 2018, while the second installment will be released on May 3, 2019, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Evans noted that his future plans are bound to both "Avengers" and "Captain America" filming commitments.

"You know, you plan around the Marvel responsibilities. You have to," Evans said in interview with Esquire, Monday.

"We start [Captain America: Civil War] in a couple weeks, and then that shoots until August or something like that. August or September," he added.

Despite his busy schedule, the 33-year-old actor said that he will still have some free time before filming the first part of the "Avengers 3" installment.

"And then we start the Infinity War, I think, some time in the third quarter. Fall or winter of 2016. That's going to be like nine months to shoot both movies back to back," he continued.

Evans also gushed about his character, Captain America, in terms of leadership.

"I don't think he's aggressively barking orders at people, but I think when you have all these powers and abilities, someone needs to steer the ship," Evans told Entertainment Weekly

"So I think that is what he's trying to do," he added.

"He does have a healthy understanding of what it feels like to be powerless, to be the victim. But he also has a healthy understanding of what it is to be a soldier," the "Captain America: The First Avenger" star continued.

"I think anytime you meet anyone that's been in the military, when you fight alongside someone they become a brother. I think in a weird way he looks at his Avengers as his family at this point," he finally added.
