Demi Lovato showed off a picture of a giant rose inked on her left forearm in Instagram, Tuesday.

"Bye bye [kiss emoji] and hello [rose emoji].. Thank you SO MUCH to my brother @GEESPOTAT2... It looks beaaauutiful and I LOVE it!!," she captioned the photo, with hashtags "#RIPvaginatattoo" and "#kidsdontdodrugs."

Lovato's new mark flawlessly included the old one, which she referred as "vagina tattoo." The lip tattoo was made to look like a leaf attached to the stem of the rose.

This latest addition to the "Skyscraper" singer's collection of body ink took a little while before it was finally completed, US Weekly reported.

"Oh yeah..... Forgot to post this.... It's still a work in progress so I'll insta when it's done... and no this is NOT an April fools joke haha," the 22-year-old songwriter captioned the photo of the unfinished rose in Instagram, April 1.

While some people tattoo themselves for fun, Lovato has a different story for each of her ink. Each one tells a story about her past experiences and hopes for the future, E! News learned.

The "Camp Rock" star has reportedly accumulated 26 tattoos on her body over five years, which includes a line that reads "You Make Me Beautiful" on her ribs, a cross on her hand and the Roman numeral "III" on her wrist.

Lovato also has a flock of 12 birds on her arm, a reminder of her faith.

The "Neon Lights" singer also has "stay strong" tattoos on both of her wrists that serve as symbols of her gratitude towards her family and friends who supported her while she was seeking treatment for physical and emotional issues.

The "Princess Protection Program" actress recently celebrated three years of sobriety and posted an emotional message to her boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama, thanking him for his love and support.

Lovato made some changes to make her life better, she said in an interview with People . After surviving the celebrity life crisis, she became active in helping others overcome body image issues.

"I just wanted people to know that you don't have to have a thigh gap to be beautiful and to reinforce that it's all about finding the confidence inside," she said.

"I'm all for women and empowerment," the "Let It Go" singer said as a conclusive statement to her advocacy.
