Supermodel Kendall Jenner has been named as the new face of makeup brand Estee Lauder.

On Saturday, the company confirmed the news that the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star has officially signed a contract with them, according to US Weekly.

The 19-year-old shared her excitement over the new partnership via her Instagram account through an inspiring video clip.

In the video, Kendall said, "To think back to being a young kid playing with Estee Lauder and then to jump to now and a part of this family, it's so awesome and incredible and I just feel so blessed."

Kendall also posted a series of photos on Instagram talking about her new partnership with the brand. In one of the photos, she wrote, "I am super excited to announce that I am the new face of @esteelauder!! I still can't believe it myself!"

In another photo, Kendall was photographed looking all excited and happy. She wrote, "This is exactly how I feel right now @voguemagazine @esteelauder."

Meanwhile, Estee Lauder's official website explained that tapping on Kendall to join the brand as part of their 360-degree marketing campaign was due to her huge following on various social media channels. The company also confirmed that it was previously agreed upon that Kendall will announced the team up via Twitter and Instagram, the Daily Mail reported.

An official video has also been uploaded on Estee Lauder's website where Kendall was featured talking about the first time she tried her mom, Kris Jenner's make-up, the same publication noted.

"The first time I wore make-up, I was a little girl and my mom was filming me, and I'm like, 'Mom, I did my make-up, do you like it?' To think back to me being a young kid going through my mom's make-up drawer, playing with Estee Lauder, and flip to now and I'm part of this family," she said.
