"True Blood" alum Evan Rachel Wood and "Ray Donovan" actress Katherine Moennig have split after their brief romance, reports Us Weekly.

Wood reportedly hinted at the relationship's end by posting on Twitter on November 9, saying: "The past can hurt, but the way I see it, you can either run from it, or learn from it."

While no confirmation was made regarding the status of their relationship, Wood and Moennig were spotted hugging and holding hands in public last month in Hollywood, according to E! News. Prior to that they were seen holding hands at the Hammer Museum's 12th Annual Gala at the Garden.

"They're really into each other," a source said. "It seems like something that may last awhile." The source also noted that the pair had been dating for at least two months at the time.

The relationship took off a couple of months after a flirty exchange on Twitter in February, according to Page Six.

Wood, who was still married to ex-husband Jamie Bell at the time, tweeted Moennig, saying: "Just saw @katemoennig at a flea market. I turned to mush and ran. Love her!!" Moennig replied with, "you should have said hi :)"

"Evan is crazy about Katherine. She had a crush on her for years but now can act on it," a source told Us Weekly after the pair was spotted together in public. The age difference doesn't bother her at all either. She thinks they make an amazing couple. She is head over heels and Katherine feels the same way."

Wood revealed in an interview with Esquire magazine in 2011 that she is bisexual, shortly after she split from goth-metal musician Marilyn Manson.

Answering if she dates women, Wood proudly said "yes." She added, "I'm up for anything. Meet a nice guy, meet a nice girl... [But] I'm more kind of like the guy when it comes to girls. I'm the dominant one. I'm opening the doors, I'm buying dinner. Yeah, I'm romantic."
