Musician Marilyn Manson has announced his new album "The Pale Emperor" which will be released on January 20, says Billboard.
"The Pale Emperor," Manson's ninth full-length studio album, will be released by the musician's own record label Hell, etc. in partnership with Cooking Vinyl. The cover art for the album has also been released. The black and white art features the goth-metal singer in a white suit, his face hazy in a motion blur.
he physical CD will have ten tracks while the iTunes version will have three bonus tracks - "Day 3," "Fated, Faithful, Fatal" and Fall of the House of Death," according to Rolling Stone.
The first single from the album called "Third Day of a Seven Day Binge" was released last month. Manson also debuted the songs "Third Day," "Cupid Carries a Gun" and "Deep Six" during live performances in southern Carolina.
During his Halloween gig at the Roxy in Hollywood, Manson solicited the help of actor Johnny Depp in performing the song "The Beautiful People," according to MTV. Depp played lead guitar while Manson's other friend Ninja of Die Antwoord sang with him.
Manson and Depp first collaborated together in 2012 when they recorded a version of Carly Simon's "You're So Vain," which was part of Manson's 2013 album "Born Villain."
Apart from doing music, Manson also dabbles into acting and has appeared on the television series "Sons of Anarchy" as Ron Tully. He has also lent his voice to one of the guest characters in the show "Once Upon A Time." Most recently, he appeared in a cameo performance, along with Cara Delevingne Jack Black and Flea, for Die Antwoord's "Ugly Boy Video."
