Comedienne Amy Poehler talked about life after divorce, her new book and a one-time, maybe-date with actor John Stamos during a guest appearance on "The Howard Stern Show" Monday, the Entertainment Weekly reported.

During her appearance on Stern's radio show to promote and discuss her new book, "Yes, Please," Poehler shared stories about her newly single life, dating and having a one-off date with Stamos after she was divorced from Will Arnett.

Poehler and Stamos worked together briefly on the set of Poehler's 2014 movie "They Came Together."

"He did a little bit in a movie that I did and a bunch of us hung out," Poehler stated. "And then later on he's like, 'Let's go get dinner.' And it was fine. I remember thinking like, 'Oh, shit. Like, if this is really a date.'"

Poehler confirmed she and Stamos did not have sex after dinner and that she was fine with that, New York Post reported. When asked if she was disappointed, Poehler said no.

"I think everything ended up the way it was supposed to end up," she said.

Poehler also opened up about her divorce with Arnett and dating comedian Nick Kroll, New York Daily News noted. Poehler and Arnett were together for over nine years before Arnett filed for divorce in April.

"I don't think a 10-year marriage constitutes a failure. I think relationships are really tough."

Poehler said dating after her divorce was "new and weird."

"I hadn't dated when there was texting," she said. "I got married in 2003 and all of a sudden I'm like, 'Oh, right now you text somebody.' That was new."

Poehler's new book, "Yes, Please," reveals the story of her relationship with ex-husband Arnett, her new beau Kroll, her pregnancy and her past drug use. The book hits stores Oct. 28.
