Actress Teresa Palmer shined on the red carpet for the Opening Ceremony of the Busan International Film Festival in South Korea last week.
Artistry Global Makeup Artist Rick DiCecca shared his tips and techniques for creating Teresa's luminous look with us!
Skin Care Prep. "To begin Teresa's look, I prepared her skin with Artistry Youth Xtend Serum Concentrate ($119) by massaging into the skin from the forehead to the décolleté," Rick said.
Face. For the base of her look, Rick used Youth Xtend Lifting Smoothing Foundation ($50), mixed with a touch of the Serum Concentrate for added radiance. "I worked the foundation into a fluffy powder brush, starting in the center of the face and applying the foundation in a circular motion over her entire face," he explained.
"Next, I used the same foundation in a darker shade under her cheekbones with a brush, to create a subtle contour, and finally set the look with a light dusting of Exact Fit Perfecting Loose Powder ($32), blended over the face."
Cheeks. "I applied Cheek Color in Sunkissed ($15), sweeping the cheek color over the apples of her cheeks and blending towards the ear, to create color and definition," the artist said.
Eyes. "This look focused on the eyes, and I used Eye Color in Fusion and Magic ($12, each) from the lash line to the crease, and buffed the shadow out into her crease to blur the edge of the shadow." Next Rick used Eye Color in Bone under Palmer's brows to highlight.
"To finish the eyes, I used Automatic EyeLiner Pencil in Ebony ($15) very close to the upper lash line, smudging the liner into the lash base with a sponge tip," Rick said.
"I followed with an eye pencil in Shimmer Black, lifting it up at the eyes' outer corners for a winged look, and the eye pencil in Bronze along her lower lash line and smudged into the lash base with a sponge tip."
Lips. "I applied Artistry Signature Color Lipstick in Daring Red to the lips," the beauty pro told us.
