A report published by The Telegraph Saturday, Oct. 4, claims that George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are spending their honeymoon in North Island, Seychelles. But a more recent story by Us Weekly says that the newlyweds have skipped the far-flung honeymoon destination and just decided to spend their two-week vacation in their newly bought house in England.

"They wanted a simple break," a source told Us Weekly, "Just somewhere to enjoy time together with no interruptions."

"It's just George and Amal at the house at the moment," the tipster added, noting that even Alamuddin's family members have not been in the property.

The source also said that the new husband and wife have not hired an in-house chef yet, but  "a small private catering company delivers their meals every day."

The couple, who tied the knot in Venice, Italy, on Sept. 27, bought their new house in the British county of Berkshire, two months ago.

The estate, which is worth $6.7 million according to Wetpaint, is less than an hour from Highclere Castle, where "Downton Abbey" filmed. It is also said to be located close to a train station.

In the Oct. 4 report of The Telegraph, the newspaper claimed that Alain St.Ange, the tourism minister for Seychelles, confirmed  that the newlyweds are spending their honeymoon in the Indian Ocean archipelago.

A source also previously told X17 Online that it was Brad Pitt who told Clooney to spend their honeymoon in North Island.

"George and Amal were looking for the ultimate, private getaway and I believe it was Brad who told him to go to this resort," the tipster said. "It's one of the most beautiful places on earth and George wanted to show Amal something even more amazing than Venice. It was the only place that could top off such an elaborate wedding."

The couple is expected to return to work next week.
