Beyonce's father, Mathew Knowles, has claimed that the infamous elevator fight between Jay Z and Solange as well as the ongoing divorce rumors about the power couple are all part of a big "Jedi mind trick" orchestrated to "ignite" ticket sales for the duo's "On The Run" Tour!

Knowles, who is Beyonce's former manager, made the shocking claims on "The Roula & Ryan Show" on 104.1 KRBE in Houston earlier this week, Radar Online reported.

"I know, because we've done this," Knowles said. "From experience, there's a tour going on, so you sometimes have to ignite that tour. It's called a Jedi mind trick. The Jedi mind trick fools you a lot."

When pressed by one of the program hosts as to whether it was truly possible that Beyonce, Jay Z, and Solange staged the elevator fight following the Met Gala in New York and leaked the tape of it, Knowles said: "All I know is the Jedi mind trick. Everyone's talking about it. Ticket sales went up. Solange's album sales went up 200 percent."

Knowles, who has not managed Beyonce for years, also attempted to spark Destiny's Child reunion rumors in the past, TMZ noted.

Meanwhile, the 32-year-old "Crazy in Love" hitmaker reportedly believes that all family scandals that she is now going through will soon "blow over."

"She knows it will blow over, and is adamant that it's not true. But the latest scandal couldn't have come at a worst time," a source told British magazine Grazia, according to Cover Media, referring to the rumors that Tina Seals are suing her and Jay Z over claims that she is the biological mother of their daughter Blue Ivy.

"She wanted to use her time away from the tour to collect herself after everything that's happened in the last few months, and this has come as yet another hurtful blow. It's the last thing she needs, especially on top of all the problems between her and Jay," the insider added.
