While promoting her new mystery thriller film "Another Me," Sophie Turner has also dished some details about the upcoming fifth season of "Game of Thrones," most especially about what is in store for Sansa Stark, the character she plays in the hit HBO show.

As readers of George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" novel series would know, Sansa's storyline has been pretty much covered in Season 4, so it is assumed that the her storyline will deviate from the original source when the show returns for Season 5 on HBO, Zap2it reported.

"'Game of Thrones' is so unpredictable and it was a big surprise what is happening to her this season," Turner told HitFix of Sansa's storyline. "I am so excited because it gives me the opportunity to work with new people and it goes in a completely different direction. I think the fans will really like where her storyline is going this season."

In "A Feast For Crows," the fourth of seven book in Martin's novel series, in which the fantasy drama series is based, Sansa and Lord Peter "Littlefinger" Baelish (Aidan Gillen) continue to work together following the death of Lysa Arryn (Kate Dickie). Turner, however, admitted that she has stopped reading the novel series as the show has begun to differ from it.

"I kind of read the 'Game of Thrones' books as the seasons [went on] but now that the storyline and scripts are kind of going away from the books I decided I'm just going to read the scripts so I don't get confused and read the books later," Turner told HitFix.

In a recent interview with Vulture, also to promote her new film "Another Me," Turner said that the darker Sansa that was presented towards the end of last season was the real Sansa.

"That's how I look at her. The Sansa who's been lurking in the shadows," she added. "She's like Gollum and Sméagol."

"In season one, that's who she was. But in seasons two, three, and four, she was kind of using the facade of her season one self, to deceive," she explained. "So I think what we've done, you missed seeing the progression into the dark Sansa, and we're just seeing it suddenly emerge, because she's been deceiving people with this mask. Or at least that's how I see it!"

"Game of Thrones" Season 5 is set to premiere next year.
